Membership has its Privileges

Tuesday June 24, 2008

I added an article about the benefits of group membership on business insurance rates. The article focuses on professional organizations, but could apply to any group of businesses or business owners who pool together to purchase insurance.

Groups are more appealing to insurers and brokers because of the volume of business and the ability to spread risk. These factors translate into lower premiums for group members. Most professional organizations like bar associations, medical associations, and trade groups are able to leverage decent discounts for their members business insurance needs.
