"Broker"Definition: One who represents an insured in solicitation, negotiation, or procurement of contracts of insurance, and who has a duty to the insured to match the insureds insurance needs with proper insurance products. Examples: A health insurance broker works to match applicants with a health insurance company or plan best matched to their needs.
